I just built up one of these frames, size Large. I put a Brand X Ascend XL 150mm dropper post in it (for the price of a Reverb overhaul….). With the post slammed to the collar, the bike fits perfectly. Bingo. FWIW I'm 6'0", 32" inside leg, I fitted a Charge Spoon saddle, 170mm XT cranks, and DMR Vault pedals.

I have this bike in an XL. Fantastic bike, really comes into its own on the descents. It has a wee bit of weight, but give me that over flimsy light weight bike anytime. I found the front a little low as I am on the taller end of sizing. I put a Renthal 40mm rise that sorted it. Join British cycling and get an extra 10% off. Which makes it very good value.

I have to say I disagree with the Reviewer with the chainstays and BB. keep them how they are. Being a taller rider it feels like I am more central on the bike and BB height doesn't want to smash the cranks on rocks with every pedal turn.

MBR I'm 170cm tall and sit in between the 15 inch and 17inch sizes. Should I go with the smaller or larger frame?

Does the shock get easily covered in mud with that rear suspension design? I'd personally pick the fuel ex over that bike any day btw, too bad you guys didn't do a review of it.

Love these vids, but wish you did one for each bike on test like Bible of Bike does.

So you compared a carbon YT Jeffsy to an ali Vitus? Why not compare the ali Jeffsy to the ali Vitus? Oh I know – bias and financial kickbacks. No worries, I understand now otherwise I’m sure the Jeffsy would’ve won hands down. How about some impartiality?

Alan. Bring back the mustache. I remember you doing hardtail reviews looking as bad ass as the tail bikes of the year! Cheers guys!

it's a beauty of a bike for sure. the potential issues to one rider, may be a boon to others as far as bb height (too low on some bikes) and taller seat tube.

Wow, senior citizens have their very own bike of the year. The Jeffsy blows it away!

In 2017 the Trek Fuel EX 7 got 10/10. Now the higher end version got 8/10. I find this a little bit confusing.
